This decline in kidney function can occur suddenly or develop gradually over time.<\/p>\n<p>The symptoms of chronic kidney disease may encompass alterations in urination patterns, swelling of the feet, ankles, hands, or face, sensations of fatigue or weakness, episodes of shortness of breath, the presence of ammonia-like breath or a metallic taste in the mouth, discomfort in the back or flank region, itching, decreased appetite, and occurrences of nausea and vomiting.
